Your voice deserves clear rules.
Effective 30 July 2026
This website
The SpeakHour website does not ask for microphone access. If you request early access, the form opens your own email app and you choose whether to send your name, contact details, native language, and speaking goal to hello@speakhour.com.
Basic measurement
The site includes privacy-conscious event hooks for actions such as opening the lesson preview or waitlist. A measurement service may be connected later; this policy will be updated before any additional analytics collection begins.
The Android app
The app is still in development. Speaking features will require microphone permission only when you choose to practise. Before launch, we will publish app-specific details covering audio processing, storage, deletion, service providers, and user controls. We will not describe audio practices more broadly than the product actually implements.
How we use early-access details
We use them to respond to your request, understand learner needs, and contact you about SpeakHour testing or launch. We do not sell early-access information.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete information you sent by emailing hello@speakhour.com. You can also choose not to send the pre-filled early-access email.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product develops. The effective date above will change when we do. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@speakhour.com.
